FACILITIES

A Willamette Valley Gem...

Bob Brack Stadium, home to the Huskies, is one of the best high school baseball
facilities in the United States
.  In 2011, the stadium was voted as the No. 1 High
School Baseball Facility
on the West Coast and top eight in the country by a national
group of baseball coaches.  As recently as May 2015, the ballpark was voted as Oregon's
best in an OregonLive poll.

Playing Surface

Bob Brack Stadium features a prestine playing surface from home plate all the way
to the center field fence.  It is natural grass in the outfield, middle infield, and foul
territory.  The field was completely renovated in the offseason of 2009 with the return
of Oregon Hall of Fame Coach Randy Brack.  There is a warning track composed of fine,
red rock that surrounds the entire field.  Each team has a bullpen in foul territory of their
corresponding side of the field.  The dugouts sit below ground level and offer storage
and seating for both clubs.

Fan Seating

Bob Brack Stadium offers seating options to suit all types of spectators, including numerous seating upgrades in the past few years including as recently as February of 2015.

  • Traditional grandstand seating which is covered, offering shade from the sun and cover from the rain.  The seating is directly behind home plate offering great sightlines.

  • Steps behind the home dugout offer standing room and the most intimate viewing experience for fans who want to be on top of the action.

  • Added in 2015, new box seating around home plate and in the first few rows of the grandstands offer comfortable seating that is close to all the action.

  • Added in 2014, new lifted boardwalk seating down the first base line offers box-style seats at a viewing angle that can't be beat.

  • Added in 2012, a box seating section to the right of home plate offers premium seating and a great view of the batter's box.

Press Box & Media

Bob Brack Stadium offers a spacious press box which sits above the grandstand seating area and offers the best view of any high school baseball facility.  The press box houses a public address speaker system, the official scorekeeper, scoreboard operator, and other gameday personnel. Members of local media including writers, photographers, and broadcasters are welcome to use the press box for media purposes.  As of the 2014 season, the press box is now easily accessible via a newly-constructed staircase in the rear of the grandstand seating section.

Other Notes

Bob Brack Stadium has outdoor lighting, making the ballpark capable of hosting night games under the lights, creating a truly unique atmosphere in high school baseball.  A frame-by-frame scoreboard keeps fans and players up-to-date with the exact happenings of the game.  The stadium also has restrooms nearby in addition to a concession stand operated by the North Marion Boosters.

The entire facility is maintained by current high school head coach Randy Brack who puts in countless hours into maintaining the state-of-the-art facility.
