TIGARD - North Marion made a quick swing through the Tigard Spring Baseball Classic with one game with the host Tigers on Monday. Tigard's offense got off to a quick start with two runs in the first. Two more Tigers runs came in the third after a North Marion error prolonged the inning. The Huskies avoided being shutout after back-to-back doubles from Kyle Williamson and Brock Breshears. Tigard tacked on one more run in the sixth to achieve the 5-1 final score.

The game lasted under 90 minutes, and both pitchers went the distance with under 90 pitches. The Huskies next action will come on Tuesday and Wednesday, when they host the North Marion Spring Break Tournament from the West Coast's Best High School Baseball Facility. North Marion will be on action Tuesday at noon against Siuslaw, and Wednesday at noon and 6pm with games against Hidden Valley and Valley Catholic, respectively.
