AURORA - The Huskies began league play on Tuesday, hosting the Molalla Indians. North Marion never trailed, although the Indians kept it close throughout. The Huskies took a 2-0 lead after Tristan Wampole plated Brock Breshears on two different occasions. Wampole scored two more on a two-RBI single in the fifth inning. McKillip scored the Huskies last run in the sixth on an RBI single. The Indians comeback bid fell just short in the seventh inning after Wyatt Moore earned the save on the tail of Brock Breshears' win. North Marion took the 5-4 win.
