Colin Barrow recorded just one official at-bat on Thursday against the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers, but he made sure it counted.
The North Marion junior capped the baseball team’s biggest rally of the season, hitting the game-winning single against the visiting Tigers to keep the Huskies unbeaten through the first week of play in the Oregon West Conference.
North Marion (5-8, 2-0 Oregon West) beat the Tigers 9-4 in Yamhill on April 7 in the league opener for both teams and were looking to make it two in a row on Thursday.
